I have the Medion Akoya p6634 with the wireless card of Intel® Centrino® Wireless-N 1030th Have tried everything possible, from the provider side but now I give up. A Wireless-N card can only provide 300 MBit / s. This corresponds to a data rate of perhaps 5-10 MB / s.
But it depends on the manufacturer and the quality. And you have to remember, you do * several things * at the same time. Therefore, the more multi-tasking you do on the network, the lower the data rate.
If you're looking for something better, look for Wireless A / C sticks or cards. These at least double the rate, and it can also be operated more multitasking.
