I had to install Kernel 5.6 to get Linux running on my laptop. This kernel has a known problem with an Intel WLAN driver. This problem should be solved with the kernel 5.6.2.
However, the update manager can't find an update and I can't find a link to it.
Can someone help me there?
PS: I connected my cell phone to the laptop via USB and activated tethering, so that I now have internet on the laptop.
All kernel versions can be found on kernel.org. However, you would then have to install them manually.
How did you install the new kernel version?
Either there's no newer kernel version in the package sources activated by you, or this is not "recognized" as a newer package version for your installed kernel version.
Search with apt for the existing kernel versions:
apt search linux-image-5
