Hello Almost everyone says that 4 GB RAM is bad for a laptop where Windows 10 is running?
For me it is completely sufficient and can open several programs that need a lot of RAM!
How so?
4 GB are just enough for Office. When I have Minecraft and Discord open it gets tight. With 5 browser tabs, it's also over for me.
Because newer games simply need more RAM.
But that's enough for surfing or for office work

It always depends on what you do.
Sure, 5 tabs are not a problem.
But work with 30 tabs (not uncommon), 1-2 virtual machines, a PDF reader, one or the other IDE, folder programs etc.
4 GB is not much if you subtract 1 GB for Windows.
But, of course, if you don't use the cache as much, you won't need it anymore.
For a low-budget book almost exclusively for use for office, web research and, if necessary, video playback, 4 GB RAM is usually sufficient for these purposes, despite Windows 10.
Even if the book has an iGPU without its own graphics memory.
With intelligent and lean software - pre-installation, Windows 10 can still handle scarce resources quite well.
Only with games and more complex application software should you take a look at the associated system requirements before buying and installing.

Take a look at the RAM under the Task Manager. How much RAM do your programs need, how much of it is outsourced?
This storage and retrieval takes time. You can minimize this time with a fast SSD, but RAM is faster.
At the latest when you have noticeable delays when switching between programs, you should think about more RAM. If you don't mind, leave it like that.
Absolutely ; already the Galaxy S6 (non +) is CPU-technically much stronger than my Tab A. (I have both a Galaxy S6 with 3 GB, as well as said Tab A)
