Run GTA San Andreas on Windows 10?

I have the GTA San Andreas version of Steam on my laptop (Windows 10). I used to be able to play the game on this device without any problems, before upgrading from Windows 7 to Windows 10. Now the game crashes every time it starts, without an error message after the start screen has been displayed briefly. I've already tried a few things to fix the problem, e.g. Run the game in Win 7 compatibility mode or as an administrator, or try to install a patch. Nothing worked. Does anyone have any tips on what else to do? E.g. Run the game in virtual box or something? Or is there only a downgrade of the device to Windows 7 as the last option?

Uninstall and reinstall if possible

se

Already tried, unfortunately it didn't work either…

bl

Okay, try a system restore point and do it

Ma

How much main memory do you have?
give a few key dates

se

RAM 8 GB RAM, DirectX 12, Intel Pentium CPU 2020M @ 2.40 GHz (2 CPUs), but as I said, I was able to play the game with Windows 7 on this device without any problems.

se

Okay, so you mean I should downgrade to Win 7 if I understand you correctly? Unfortunately, I'm not that knowledgeable about IT terms ;-)

Ma

Then try to install the win7 drivers, he takes Vista too

bl

It's not that complicated, but yes

Ma

There he also comes up with it himself

bl

Get lost

se

Mmhh, okay, so keep Win 10, but install the Windows 7 drivers on this operating system? And how exactly would that work and where can I find the respective drivers?

Ca

Unfortunately I can't help you, watch YouTube videos.

I just want to say Win7> Win10

Ma

At the card manufacturer or at nvidia or amd

Run the installer in compatibility mode

Ma

Greed, I found something, but in English, you can have it translated
