Refrigeration and electronics have always only been compatible to a limited extent. If you travel a lot with your laptop in winter, you should therefore exercise some caution to avoid a weak battery, a frozen display, moisture in the case and, in the worst case, a total write-off. I also can't imagine that the electronics are particularly enthusiastic about a car heated to 50 degrees.
At how many degrees Celsius outside temperature can you leave the laptop in the car in summer as well as in winter without having to expect any consequential damage.
Apple states the following for its devices:
Operating temperature: 10 ° C to 35 ° C
Storage temperature: -25 ° C to 45 ° C
Personally, however, I would rather use the operating temperature
Such a valuable device should not be left in the car at all, because in addition to the unusable device, you also risk at least one defective side window…
Radon has already given you the temperature information…
I can hardly imagine that it is unproblematic for a laptop in the long term to lie in the car at -25 degrees.
Because battery + cold + time = damage (loss of battery power)
I think this is purely a marketing statement from Apple that the device can withstand these temperatures a few times, but the wear and tear will in any case multiply.
How do I know: Apple iPhone users (the devices don't like heat and cold)
As I said, personally I would rather depend on the operating temperature:-)
Yes, I could well imagine that temperatures of + 10 - + 35 degrees are still within limits.
That's true. Even in an emergency, I leave it in the separate car trunk during the day (not visible from the outside). If I was at work before and then want to go to town.
The risk is very low that a potential burglar will break into the trunk of the car in the middle of the day without any premonition.
The probability of finding gold with this blind method is very low.
