What is it laptop cooling

I wanted to clean an old laptop (year of construction 2005), but I came across such orange plates under the heat sink that sit above the chips (picture).

Have never seen anything like this, can I remove the heat sink without problems? (I only have thermal paste and pads ready)

Should go, but not pull too hard

I would recommend you not to recommend the heat sink, as it is quite possible that it can't be easily replaced.

This is called "heat pipe" and the copper directs the heat away from the spot so that it can be "dissipated" somewhere. So there's nothing in the middle to install a fan so that the entire laptop is heated from the inside.

So you first direct the heat somewhere to the edge with the copper and then it is then ventilated and ideally outside.

They are mostly glued or welded, I advise you to take the whole thing off as a unit, it will certainly be a bit tedious, but if you can't get the heat pipe back on so that it is really firmly connected to the cooler, the processor is definitely soon overheats when a little runs on load and gets out or jerks down to yawning lameness, maybe even if things go well With bad luck it'll be done in a couple of weeks.

This is the bacon the 2 part of the fan can also be taken off, just pulling it is only extra

In what way?

Did that mean under the heat sink. This is a thin layer of (I guess) plastic that is over the chip and appears to be in contact with the heat sink.
