Discord pulls down ping at online games?

I have now bought a new laptop and wanted to play with my boys but suddenly I get discord connect to the channel and then from 28ms to 70ms and 100ms and it didn't go down? Does anyone know what it could be? Only when I have opened Discord.

Have 64bit and Discord there are only for 32bit it can be because of it

Discord communicates permanently with servers. Depending on what your internet connection looks like, the ping can get worse. You can try TeamSpeak, they claim to have the least influence on the ping
