I would like to host my own ts3 server on my laptop, but you have to pass on your IP address and the people who want to join it.
Problem: I just do not want everyone then sees my IP and then possibly comes on stupid thoughts.
Is it somehow possible to "put another IP on it" so that you do not see mine but still connected to my IP?
It does not work. Even if you put a short URL on it, you just have to ping them to get the IP.
Theoretically, you can get a free .tk domain.
If you anping this, then you still see your IP.
Otherwise, any other ways to protect my IP from a Ddos or the like?
Ne firewall.
Such services exist, called ip forwarding. Here eg. https://portmap.io/
Thanks, I'll try it out right away.
