Since my smartphone memory is once again hopelessly full, I want to transfer data to my laptop. Unfortunately, my phone (Samsung S7, if this is important for troubleshooting) only charges when I connect it, but I don't have the option to display folders / transfer data after connecting to the laptop.
Do you have any ideas as to why it is or how it works? I have already tested all existing USB cables and that is probably not because (that was the decisive factor for my old smartphone).
Maybe a device is going crazy.
Can you find the folder on the laptop at all?
I'm not sure about that because I have already searched, but I could imagine that as a non-tech-savvy person I was not looking for the right place. But the laptop shows the smartphone under devices. Only there are no other options there.
