I have to do a Windows update on my actually newer laptop and have tried that many times, but every time the part gets stuck at 7 percent and the update breaks off. Have already tried it 10 times. What should I do to make it work?
You could read through and google why the update is aborting.
Your laptop may not have enough memory for the new update. If you can delete something before you try the next time?
Ok thanks i will do it
Thank you, I will do it
Please see if your system also has space for an update.

Joa can be anything - Windows should give you a hint that you can track.
These updates have a KB number that can be searched for and downloaded and installed directly.
Also works with the big updates. Via the tool https://www.microsoft.com/.../windows10
