Please help, I despair!
Since I have installed GData on my laptop (Windows 10) I can't access the Internet after updating GData or Windows.
WLAN connects but it does not charge anything. Sometimes there's also "no internet, secured" there. For the first time it was on the DHCP module, which was deactivated after a Windows update at once. Then it was time for the TLS settings.
Lately, nothing happened again because Gdata had blocked the Internet access, because Gdata had to make an update in order to release the Internet access again. I turned off gdata and windows firewall but still could not connect. Only when I made a LAN connection, Gdata was able to load the updates and when the protection was restored, the WLAN was also flawlessly.
Everything went great last week. Friday I had to work on the laptop again and it came again Gdata update and scan. Before I did this, I was able to access the internet. After the update but not anymore.
I have tried everything, checked everything, called the support and felt all the step by step help from the Internet tried (yes, on all other devices can be made a connection). I also reset the router, restarted, reinstalled gdata, reset all internet, gdata and firewall settings, changed DNS, but it did not work.
I checked everything and everything should work properly. But that is not the case. I do not know how to continue.
This will certainly not help you much. But why in Windows 10 an additional virus program? The Windows Defender is enough for the normal consumer completely. If GData causes you such problems, uninstall the software with all Registry entries and your folding computer runs again as before.
If I do not have a virus program installed, Windows 10 complains and locks all connections.
I bought a license for gdata, which runs for a long time…
Windows 10 but brings the Defender already with the installation.
