I need your tips: A few days ago I bought a Samsung monitor, more precisely: Samsung C27F390FHUXEN. After connecting via HDMI cable (laptop monitor), I noticed that there was an annoying noise coming from the monitor's HDMI socket (a buzzing noise that sounds very annoying in the long run). What I've already tried: As soon as the brightness of the monitor is turned down a little, the noise becomes significantly quieter.
Do you know why that could be?
Actually, such a buzz mostly comes from the power supply or where the voltage is converted. The whole thing is called coil whine and is a very well known problem.
Solution: Make use of the right of return. Everything else doesn't really help.
All right, yes, I'll do that now too! It's now the second copy that I'm returning, but well, what the heck. So with the first one we had a different problem. : /
Annoying… But yes, buying monitors is always a story, especially when it comes to pixel errors, you can often be unlucky.
I have the monitor as a 24 inch, I don't get any coil whine. Think you caught a monday device there.
