Price for a PC for school (information technology high school)?

So I'm going to this high school next year but I don't have a PC but only a laptop that is more suitable for office work and watching films etc. But is not so powerful. (The laptop is also over 3 years old)

Up until now I'm not very familiar with it and therefore do not know how much I have to save in order to have a reasonable PC that meets the requirements.

About my other usage behavior.

I watch a lot of films etc. I also gamble but rather emulator things.

What price should I expect?

If you don't do sophisticated gaming, but rather Minecraft and such.

Should 500 - 700 euro be enough to build something reasonable for you

Maybe Final Fantasy but I'm not sure
