I want to buy an Acer Predator Helios 300 with 1TB SSD,
Due to personal experience (data loss because SSD is defective after a short circuit in my old notebook), I would like to use an HDD from my old notebook to store private files (pictures, documents, etc.) there.
The 2019 model of the Helios 300 had maintenance flaps on the underside through which the RAM and HDD could be upgraded.
The 2020 model has no maintenance hatches, I would have to remove the entire floor. Can someone tell me if this is possible without breaking the guarantee seal or can someone tell me where it is appropriate?
As an alternative, I have now considered one with a 256GB SSD + 1TB HDD, but I would rather use my old HDD in addition, since I have it again and would end up with a config of 1TB SSD + 1TB HDD.
In terms of price, both variants are approximately the same, but I prefer the variant with the large SSD.
Does someone have a 2020 model of the Helios 300 (2020 model - blue design, 2019 was red design) and can I photograph the underside or tell me how it works with the guarantee seal? Maybe there's none. (which I unfortunately doubt).
Hey on eBay there's a used Asus. Did well in the test. Have a look.
Well, it should be a new device. Have now included the Predator Triton. MSI is out, so unfortunately I have had bad experiences with the support. ASUS, yes, you can see…
Do I have to click through the forums again on the WE.
Buying a notebook is just as bad as buying a car in advance:-)
