Can't buy Blue-Ray u. Play DVD movies. Error / message no disk in the drive.

Are new music films, what about Elton John, Queen, Yesterday what about Beatles music.

My 17 inch Acer Aspire laptop is one year old and cost 1,000. Operating system Win 10 with media player and VLC player. Do you have a solution for me?

Laptops only have DVD drives if at all, you would have to buy an (external) BluRay drive. In addition, BluRays have a funny copy protection, so you still need certain software to play it.

What kind of drive is there built in or what kind of drive have you connected?

Blurays can of course only be played in a Bluray player and not with normal players such as VLC etc., because they do not play Blurays for legal reasons. You have to buy licensed players or search for the few free ones like Leawo.

However, DVDs should be played without problems, if a normal DVD drive is available, should work normally with VLC etc. Be playable!

I'm on vacation for a few days and quickly took a few films (boredom, no network there) with me. Just checked, I only have DVD burner that does not play my original DVD films that I have.

It was my mistake to believe that a laptop would play originally purchased films.
