On my ACER laptop Windows 10 the WLAN symbol suddenly disappears after a restart. And I can no longer click it on the taskbar.
On all other devices in the house, the Wi-Fi works perfectly on my cell phone. But it's gone on my laptop. I restarted several times and waited 1 hour.
My mother mwint it is because of Corona that there are now a lot of people on the web. I don't think otherwise the network would be gone all over the house.
What can I do to reactivate it?
Check in the Device Manager whether the device is still visible, look on the laptop whether the WLAN switch is ON. Can be an FN or hardware key.
Device Manager is shown to me as blocked by the administrator. And I'm the only one using the laptop
Respectively. Has been blocked for security reasons
Then take the admin account and open it
Right-click an empty space on the taskbar.
Now click on Properties.
Now click on Customize.
Click on "Select icons for display on the taskbar"
Now you can deactivate and activate the symbol for LAN / WLAN
So the whole Wi-Fi menu is gone or how exactly is it displayed?
He can also simply click on the arrow in the lower right corner of the taskbar and drag it from there back to the taskbar
It is not shown to me or only the sound with a red X
I tried that but it didn't work because I don't see it
