Netflix or Amazon Prime watching movies on a laptop without Inet?

Due to the fact that my buddy currently has no Inet available I had the idea to download movies from Netflix / Amazon to an external memory so that you can look at them on a laptop without Inet. Since that does not work, I wanted to ask if there are other means how to get it off, such as the screen of the phone (where the movies can be stored) on the laptop to transfer?

There's also the option, if you do not already know, to download movies directly to Netflix and Prime and watch them offline in related apps. Can you then leave your laptop for a few days?

Okay, so there's also an app for the PC on which you can save the movies. I did not know that, but that sounds like a good idea
