My friend's ASUS VivoBook can't find a network anymore. It is no longer displayed, so there's no network of neighbors or the like.
We last had this before, when we reset the network settings of the laptop and then the problem was solved. Now this has already happened 3 times and we were able to solve it that way, but that's not a permanent solution. Does anyone know the problem?

I would delete the "wireless adapter" (including driver) from the Windows device manager.

Then trigger "Search for new hardware" in the device manager, Windows will find the wireless adapter again. And then freshly install the current driver for the wireless adapter.

Here you can get the current driver, pay close attention to the model (download the file beforehand, as long as the Wi-Fi is still working!):

This procedure is described here at ASUS in the paragraph

"Update the WLAN driver via the device manager"
