New notebook fan rattles at low speeds?

I have bought a new notebook (Asus Zephyrus GA502U) and I hear a clatter (presumably from the CPU fan), as soon as the PC is in the IDLE and the fan speeds fall. It does not appear at system startup and at the beginning in Windows, only a little later.

Normally one would now say "Okay, there's probably a warehouse broken, send back and buy a new model". The problem is that I have done exactly that and nothing has changed.

I've already searched for reviews on the internet, but nowhere found that others could do it that way. In test reports, there's no mention of it, which is why I still have a hard time believing that this is a mistake in the model itself.

Windows 10 Pro is installed by me and has allowed to make all updates. BIOS not yet updated, so that I can recall without problems. I may still lack the "right" driver of the iGPU, but that should rather be less responsible (I know that such clauses always arrive well).

What should I do best now? I would basically like to have the notebook, but just without this rattle. If it really is a design flaw, then I do not want it.

Furthermore, I do not want to spend a lot of time trying to fix it myself to make it worse.

It is possible that a fan in the notebook is not properly screwed and this then "wobbles" in the operation

Gu

That could be natural, but that's a rare mistake that does not show up in two random samples, right? Furthermore, it would then rather always be so and not just for some operating time and specific speeds.

Resend and insist on mending. If you still have the right to return, take advantage of this and order a new one.

If you unscrew it yourself to find the fault, then the warranty flutes.

It's the same with my Lenovo ideapad, even with the third model. Even at low speed, just bad fan… Then I bought an HP fan and adjusted, now is calm in the box.

Unfortunately, CPU FAN or Hwinfo with fan control does not work on this stupid Lenovo either.

Alternative:

Did that synonymous with other fans made me annoying and unfortunately not synonymous CPU fan or the like can be controlled. Simply a thermal switch 40 ° as a closer between hung. But this is only worthwhile if the device is older.

If you still have the right to return, take advantage of this and order a new one.

That's exactly what I've already done, but nothing has changed. It would probably be best to buy a completely different laptop -.

Gu

Stupid if that's the only option.

I do not know if I'm able to install another fan and adjust it accordingly. For the money, which I have paid, but I'm actually not really ready for it.

Thank you anyway for your answer, you are probably already right and that is the only thing that could change something.

Th

Yes that's really annoying… But you have to send it back again and urge you to finally fix the damage. After all, that's your right to an article that has always had the problem.

I would call the support again before, maybe they can offer you a solution that they send you a new device.

Gu

As I said, I've already got a completely new device because I could return the old in the deadline directly to me so the possible trouble with the repair to save.

But even with the completely new device, the same problem occurs.

Th

Hmm, sure they did not send you the same one again?

I would definitely contact the support, maybe you can send the device back and then buy another one.

Gu

Yes, I did not send the old one back until the new one was sent. Of course I thought about it.

Th

Okay, that's probably the case with the notebook by default. These gaming notebooks often bring more advantages than advantages.

I'd call, if you're lucky you might get the money back, if you're unlucky, you can have one sent again.
