I need to replace my laptop fan as it rattles. Unfortunately, dismantling and careful cleaning did not help much.
The type designation on the fan is "FBGP" with "DV 5V and 0.5 A". My Google search showed that the original fan no longer exists, at least in Germany. The type "FBC7" is offered very rarely, also with "DV 5V and 0.5A", which supposedly should fit.
I only found the "FBGP" type I need in Chinese shops. I'm not sure if you should order here…
Or someone has experience with orders in China in this regard?
Probably I'm not the only one with this problem, so I hope that someone will get in touch who has already replaced the fan in their Acer Aspire V3 772G and can say something about it.
@ kuku27 Yes, thank you very much, I had already discovered it on Amazon. Unfortunately the fan has the type designation "FBC7", but I need "FBGP".
I don't know whether one should simply believe the seller's promise "is compatible". After all, their laptop doesn't go hops if something about the fan type "FBC7" is not compatible.
Nothing goes up with a fan. It's all about the mechanical fit. If it goes in without any problems then it also cools. In terms of electricity, such a fan is not a load. Another supplier: http://www.notebookpartsshop.com/new-original-acer-aspire-v3772-v3772g-cpu-cooling-fan-13n07na0g01-p-1780.html
It is clearly stated that the FBGP will be replaced. I have no idea what the term actually means. Often only the color is different or the wing shape is slightly different and thus louder or quieter. Or just a sticker in a different language. Or other grease on the axle. Forget your fear. The plug is standardized and everyone moves air. Power consumption is more than low.
