Laptop self-employed after closing?

I have a rather rare topic here because there's no solution on the Internet. Since it was unscrewed, my laptop no longer recognizes that it is being closed and the screen stays on when it is closed (I have set in the control panel that it does not switch off when it is closed, but before that the same setting always has at least that Screen out). Now that he no longer recognizes this, he starts to become self-employed and when I open it again, thousands of windows are open and in the Windows settings there are even a few things that are sometimes blocked. At first I thought that when I closed it, any buttons were pressed that opened it all, but I had connected the laptop to my television today and saw that after closing it looked like someone else was outside on the computer continue to work as with a remote control. The mouse moves, the start menu is called up and the settings are opened, and the network settings are then searched for. The whole thing is accompanied by further pop-up windows and the permanent appearance and disappearance of the start menu and notification center. The same behavior can also be seen in airplane mode (i.e. When the device is disconnected from the Internet).

Use Windows 10 on an ASUS P550CA-XO330D. I have reinstalled the system a thousand times, but the error remains. Windows 10 is original from Microsoft's Media Creation Tool.

Hope someone can help me quickly.

One possibility: you can specify in the system settings how the laptop should react when it is closed. So: shutdown or standby, etc. Maybe that's because.

Sounds like a stubborn worm / virus.

It is best to get a fresh installation medium.

Then screw on again and see if the contact is possibly off (which registers whether the display is closed).

Ed

That would not change anything, since he no longer notices that he is being closed.

Ed

I created a boot stick with Microsoft's original media creation tool. With the current version of Windows 10.

Bi

Since he was screwed on

Since the error is likely to be found.

Laptops recognize the closing by means of a small magnet in the monitor frame. It is probably no longer exactly in place, or a strand was disconnected.

Ed

I've already tried, but I can't get there.

Sm

Hm, yes I missed this sentence, sorry.

Ed

Already tried to get hold of the magnet. But does not work. Can't open the monitor frame.

br

If I get a notebook, I can get all the components.

br

You have to have a contact on the mainboard, that doesn't happen by magic.

I think it is because it was screwed on and the sensor was no longer properly attached or was not reconnected.

Pressing any key may interfere with the display and touchpad. I've seen something similar myself after putting aluminum foil on the touchpad. The mouse moves, windows are opened, objects are moved on the desktop, etc. However, there are no targeted mouse movements and keyboard inputs are not made, it can at most happen that a previously searched term is searched again in the control panel.

The whole thing can of course also be traced back to scareware that someone has installed, which either the virus scanner finds or a new setup of the OS removes it safely.
