Epson xp-425 connect to laptop?

Re
- in Asus

Due to problems, I had to reset my laptop, the AsusF750l, a few months ago, with my printer, the Epson xp-425, with which I always print via Wi-Fi, and the associated Epson apps on my laptop gone missing. My printer seems to be connected to the WLAN (status: network connected), but under Control Panel → Devices and Printers only the device status "Driver not available" is displayed. If I then go to "Add Printer" to install the driver, the printer xp-425 is not listed and also on the Epson support page, when downloading from the driver, nothing moves. Do I have to click Allow on my laptop to allow the download to start, or are there other ways to reconnect my printer to the laptop?

I ask for quick help.

Of course, you have to set everything up again, like the first day you bought the printer… Unfortunately.

First download the desired drivers and the software. Yes, if you trigger the download, you must of course allow the browser to save the files on the laptop, you need them.

IMPORTANT: If the download fails, turn off the printer completely and try the download again (the printer's hotspot option may interfere)

Here are the downloads for your printer:

Essential things are:

Choose the correct operating system when downloading (Win 10 64-bit or 32-bit).

Connect the printer to your router with a LAN cable if feasible, otherwise stop with WLAN (preferably with the printer menu on the printer itself, tip use WPS) with your wireless router.

Then only in windows after "new printer in the network search…", if the printer is connected with your WLAN, Windows will find the network printer (network printer, means it is connected to your network).
