Play Vegas 17 Pro?

I recently installed the editing program "Vegas 17 pro". But when I wanted to play a video there, I had very few frames (1.5 to 25). And the video in general was very "cut off" so I could only see one frame per 5 seconds. Do you have a tip on how to fix this? (The Ahf solution was 4k and the photos were 46 megapixels, I have an Asus laptop with Windows 10, which is a few years old.)

Well that is a typical case of "not knowing", you have to learn the correct operation, such a program can't be operated intuitively.
