I was just about to watch the sixth part of Harry Potter on my laptop (on DVD), but the film is only ever played in English. The film has also been saved in German on other devices and my laptop has already played German films. I've tried restarting my laptop and I've tried other languages, but it's always in English only. Why is that? What can I do? By the way, I watch the film on VLC media player.
Edit: I just saw that the player has an update due. I'll update it now and try again afterwards.
Maybe the DVD is damaged
Hm could be
Look if it's scratched
There are a few small scratches, but they are not severe
It is the same with me. Each DVD is automatically played in the original (on the notebook). I have to change the current track as soon as the DVD is running.
Look times in the settings of your player?
Who knows maybe that has something to do with it depends on where exactly the scratches are.
And how do I do that? I have also seen other films with the original English in German
Okay thanks, I'll try another device
If the movie is running on Ikon Audio - audio track - select. At least with the VLC.
Oke, I'll try, thanks
It worked, thank you very much!
With pleasure
With Harry Potter it is always the case that you have to select the language 2-3 times until you then press start film
It was the same for me. I switched it to German again during the film and then it worked.
