I connected my laptop (win 10) via hdmi to our somewhat older television. The picture is not transmitted, however, the sound. Had the same problem last time, but don't remember how I did it back then. Under the audio settings, I also find no audio output via hdmi. Only the sockets that are built into my laptop
EDIT:
I did it, changed the hdmi cable from hdmi 1 to hdmi 2 and now we're off.
In the PC settings:
Go on system
Go to Sound in the left column
Go to Sound Control Panel on the far right under Related Settings
While your laptop is connected to the TV via HDMI, switch to TV audio during playback and then to Activate
As I said. The tv was not even shown. But it works now after I switched from hdmi 1 to hdmi 2 😅
