I have a laptop with 2 graphics cards:
1. An Intel Graphics Family
2. (which is not used) Amd Radeon HD 8750M
I want to control this too to increase the performance but how?
I would appreciate an answer: )
Even if you have several Grakas connected, you can only use 1 (as far as I know corrects me if I'm wrong).
In the Windows menu, in hardware, just select the other Graka (but then have to install the appropriate drivers and soos, if they are not on it)
Sure the second graka is never used? Actually, Windows should use the processor graphics in such systems mostly to save power and in high-performance applications use the Graka.
For laptops, the NVIDIA software switches on its own.
In idle, the laptop runs on the low-power iGPU and only when you start games or graphics-intensive programs, it automatically switches to the dedicated GPU.
Ups, who was at NVIDIA, of course meant the corresponding program from AMD.
Never had a laptop. But good to know, thanks.
It is not used at all
