I have connected a second screen to my laptop and now want to make this monitor the main monitor, because the application always opens on the laptop monitor next to it as soon as I open it
If you use Windows 10, you can do this via the display settings.
Right-click on the desktop> display settings> select screen (identify beforehand if necessary)
Scroll down and tick "Use this display as main display".
Win + P and then select second screen only

Thank you very much for your answer, unfortunately the box for the cross there's gray and I can't put it. If you can tell me more about this, I look forward to further help
If it is gray and deactivated, the tick is usually already there. This selected screen is then already the main screen. Then you have to select the other screen above and you should be able to tick the box
Right click on the desktop> display settings and then select a screen (identify with "do you know which monitor is 1 and which is 2") and at the very bottom a checkmark at "use this display as main display"…
Interesting that you copied my text
