Are Usb Reusing Hdmi Adapters?

I wanted to get a second external screen. And since my laptop only has a HDMI output, I thought of a USB 3.0 to hdmi. Now I wanted to know if there are good and it works properly at all or whether it is more likely. That I can't do any graphics applications with it is already clear to me, but at least he should be able to play YouTube videos without lengthwise.
