Password leaked and hacked?

So apparently my password was leaked on any page. I have already remembered all the accounts you have changed the password, but got an email a few weeks ago, you threatened to publish my things.

At the time I have already changed most things (really strong passwords).

Now I have recently received emails again, where one of them said that they had slipped into my laptop and made video recordings of me. The person then threatened to publish these videos if I did not transfer a certain amount of money.

I discovered this message only a few days / weeks later and my camera on the laptop is also hidden.

If that's true now, what the person says. What can I do about someone reading my laptop?

So install or eject any apps?

Please fast return, the person just annoying and I want to finally get that out of my head.

Pa

If your camera is covered, then there's certainly no interesting video footage of you XD

It's probably just spam - people try to scare people and if only one in 1 million pays, then it's worth it for them.

al

Au white. That's scary.

You should quickly flatten your computer. There's probably a Trojan on it. That would explain why someone has all your data and passwords and claims to have taken videos of you (which is probably true).

Then change ALL passwords again.

An internal webcam should always cover anyway if it is not used. Disconnect an external from the USB port.

Mi

Ok and what do you mean by flattening?

al

Sorry: Reinstall the operating system. Completely new. Do not "install over". So backup all data externally and install a virgin OS.

Mi

Okay, you could explain that step by step. Unfortunately I have no plan of. So I have a Macbook and already clear how to get my documents and everything safe. But is that enough?

tr

No, do not do that. This is just a spam mail. We have already received several times at work. Total rubbish. Ignore and delete and carry on. Nothing happens.

al

Again a question: Have your passwords really been stolen or has anyone claimed that? If only someone says it, you can probably ignore it. Everyone gets these scams.

al

See what I wrote. I assumed someone had stolen his passwords. Because it was so in the question.

Mi

So that was just my correct password entered, which I use on some pages. But none of my accounts were used somehow. But then I already changed all the ones that occurred to me

jo

I have already received the same e-mails. I have never made or looked at the PC something indecent or the like.

So I forwarded them to a place where you can report fraudulent mails.

Then I just deleted the mail, and that's good!

Mi

Oh and where can you lead that?
