Which notebook better for sims3 and sims4?

pr
- in Dell

My laptop broke i just want something where i can play sims for now and am thinking between the two:
Asus L406MA-EK077TS 35.6 cm (14 inch) notebook Intel® Celeron® N4000 4 GB Intel UHD Graphics 600 Windows® 10 Home 64
Or:
Dell Latitude XT3 Convertible Notebook Refurbished (very good) 33.8 cm (13.3 inch) Intel Core i5 i5-2520M 8 GB 256 GB S
What do you all mean?

Ut

You should attach importance to good to very good graphics, since SIMS puts a lot of strain on the GraKa.

Mo

Honestly the second (Dell Refurbish).

Even if the hardware is not new and the CPU is outdated, it still has significantly more performance than the first one with the N4000 SoC:

pr

One of the two is suitable for this
where dell says:
Intel HD Graphics
Graphics card model
3000
and with Asus:
Intel UHD Graphics
Graphics card model
600

pr

Oh cool thanks for the link

The second device is more powerful because it has a better processor and twice the amount of RAM. The SSD also provides a decent speed boost. However, a 13.3-inch device would be too small for me to play.

Neither device is really suitable for gaming, since only a weak integrated graphics chip is installed. For Sims 3, the device will certainly be sufficient for at least low settings, since the system requirements there are very low. You should just try Sims 4. As far as I know, Sims also offers a laptop mode, which gives you a bit more performance.

If you tell us your price range, you could possibly find a better device.

Then in doubt I would prefer the UHD graphics if they were in the DELL. Since that's not the case, I would definitely prefer the I5.

I can also recommend this: https://binorino.com/laptop-notebooks/15-zoll-notebook/9716/hp-15-cw12-notebook-39-6-cm/15-6-zoll-amd-ryzen-7-512-gb-ssd

Neither of the two notebooks have an independent graphics unit, only the graphics unit that is integrated in the chip itself and is slow.

But the SIMS 4 is also a bit older and did not have the highest hardware requirements even then. You may not be able to gamble on high FullHD settings, but you can do that in downgraded graphics.

And if you wanted a notebook with its own graphics unit, you would have to spend more than (about) € 250.

pr

Up to 500 euro

There's LOW Presets at 1024x768 should run smoothly. I don't know how far away.

pr

Yes up to 500 euro would be fine

vi

You can easily get something significantly better, including a new device. What do the two devices you mentioned cost?

Mo

Up to € 500?

Then take a look at this:

Here is the comparison I5 2520M vs AMD Ryzen 5 3500U:

https://cpu.userbenchmark.com/...9vsm760067

About the CPU and its integrated graphics chip (Vega 8):

https://www.notebookcheck.com/...001.0.html

There then stands for the graphic settings for SIMS 4:

MED settings with 1378x768 at about 58Fps

HigH settings with Full HD at around 31Fps

For a recommendation, see my answer above

The dell is reduced to 210 euro, the asus 222 euro

I notice that I actually still have a 2011 mac book 13 but on the sims never had anybody maybe nh idea what was wrong even then had originated with origin who could not help either

Yes, it sounds good thanks too

Ra

The Dell Latitude is better, even if it's older. Sims 3/4 run smoothly, see:

Thank you very much I notice I actually still have a 2011 mac book 13 but on the sims never had anybody maybe nh idea what was wrong even then with originating on the phone they couldn't help either

Ra

That may be. The game may not be supported on Mac OS. Or the appropriate drivers were missing

Mo

Sorry but I don't know about MAC. In my life I only sat about 5 times for a working day on a MAC during a training session to manage the company's website.
