Here are the specs:

CPU: i7-6500U

GPU: GTX 950M

Integrated GPU: Intel HD Graphics 520

HDD: Toshiba 1 TB

SSD: 256 GB

Also has Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, Matt Full HD Display, 4 USB ports, LAN, AUX, HDMI, etc.

I would be interested to know how much such a laptop is worth.

po

Good allrounder to compare with today's "gaming" standards. About 800-1,400 euro

Depending on the brand comes of course still the "brand value" on it and the middleman value.

ca

Maybe 300 euro.

For 500 euro, there are already much better notebooks.

Co

Okay thank you, I thought so.

Th

Not even new, certainly not used.

Co

Can you possibly give examples?

Th

I estimate about 350 euro-500 euro, if you're lucky.

A few years ago the new probably cost around 700-900 euro.

After all, the two hard drives are an advantage, the graphics card is too slow to gamble, the processor is fine for working.

Th

800-1400 euro is really too much…

Co

But the GPU is not enough for not so extreme gaming, right? Such as: GTA 5 on Normal Settings

Th

Yes that is definitely possible. But many current games have much higher minimum requirements. And a comparable graphics card for a PC costs just 100 euro, accordingly, the laptop is only suitable for beginners for gambling and older games.

Co

Alright, thank you very much.

Th

No problem. If you intend to buy one I would not spend more than 400 euro for it. If you want to sell it I would advertise 550 euro VHB, maybe you will get 500 euro for it, depending on which model it is.

For 500 euro you get PCs that are at least twice as strong.

da

So if you're going to buy it just for gaming do not do it for a desktop PC

Gu

What kind of display technology? IPS, TN, OLED or something else?

Co

Such a laptop is already suitable for video editing, right? The laptop still has 8GB DDR3 Ram.

Co

Non glare IPS Full HD Display

Th

No, no. For video editing and gambling always! Take a PC. The laptop is too weak for that. What can you spend in total, so with screen?

Gu

IPS Full HD Display
IPS panels are comparatively expensive, but have a good color rendering, even in low light conditions. I would not recommend TN panel.

Co

I just bought this laptop, sorry, that I did not mention that before. I had just planned to cut him to take for video traveling. It is a Medion Erazer P6661, which I bought for 445 euro, with 5 months warranty. He has already been replaced the battery, otherwise he is in pristine condition. I already have a desktop PC.

Co

Thank you very much.

Co

I ask because I did not believe that this laptop was so cheap. As it seems, he was not as "cheap" as I thought.

Th

Oh okay, too bad… Bad now he is not, but you could have already gotten a better one for the money. Especially if the program renders with the processor and not with the graphics card. But I'm not an expert when it comes to video editing.

Co

Thanks again. After a long search, this was the best in Austria that I could find, I thought. Anyway, I'm still satisfied.

Th

No problem. For 450 euro it is definitely "okay". Faith in Austria is a bit more expensive anyway, so maybe it has even been a good price. If your editing program can use the Cuda Cores of your Nvidia graphics card it has certainly been a good idea.

Have fun with the part.

Co

You are right.

da

Macbooks have a video clipper with realtime rendering

ca

A notebook with mx150 and I5 8250 you would be better and is new for about 550 euro to get.

Co

Okay thank you very much!
