Do I need a laptop for training?

I'm going into the first year of training as a specialist in system integration.

Now I have to buy a new PC and there I ask myself the question:

Do I need a mobile PC for IT or a stationary one?

Your company can't dictate which PC you need to have.

Incidentally, it may well be that they provide you with your own. My brother is currently doing the same training and has been given a lap-top by his company.

In many IT companies, you Can't bring your own devices at all.
