I want to get the 2 in 1 laptop model from Microsoft Surface Go, a laptop but also a tablet in one. The model has 4 GB RAM and 64 GB EMMC. Now my question is whether the EMMC GB is to be understood as normal GB?
The 64GB is the hard drive, so to speak. So no RAM.
The GB are the same, but eMMC is a built-in memory card that serves as an alternative to conventional mass storage devices such as a hard drive or SSD. An eMMC is not RAM.
Would you recommend 4 or 8 GB for longer use? So if you used it for university?

8GB RAM is better if you have a lot of things open.
