I have been using Kaspersky for years and am actually very happy with it. It is available in a free variant with limited functionality, but also in a purchase variant.
If you have Windows 10, you don't need additional virus protection. The existing Windows Defender is on a level with other well-known manufacturers and therefore completely sufficient. If you don't have Windows 10, I would use Avast. Avast is free. There are also paid versions, but you don't necessarily need them.

The game can be the same error as Edge, but I don't suspect that, did you also log in with the correct administrator account? If so, do you start the game via a shortcut? If so go to the installation folder of the game and start the .exe of the game there, the game still does not run, unlock the secret administrator account via cmd here you need Windows 10. Windows key> Settings> Apps> Search this list> Search for: Security / Anti / Virus
Press the Windows key go to the gear (Settings) then on Apps then search in this list search for things like security and anti or virus.
