A gamer would almost always opt for a PC, and a person who travels a lot would prefer a laptop.
But if you had to choose one of the two & could never undo your decision, which would you choose: PC or laptop? And why?
Phu… For me just a really mean question xD
I'm a gamer (console and PC) but I need the laptop even when I have nothing to do on the go xD
Although I could switch to the tablet… Mhm… I think so I would probably use the PC
In principle, I would prefer the PC because the expansion options are very important to me. Since I also prefer to use an iPad than a laptop, this is actually out of the question for me.
Only if the laptop has a lot of power and I can also use it on a monitor would this be an option for me.
That's how I feel too, so it would be really damn hard to have to decide on one thing.
I use my PC in gaming, programming and the like, it is simply better in terms of performance, you can upgrade it later and it has a lot of storage space
But I also often use my laptop when I go to school or when I'm out and about. Both are great
Nowadays a tablet can actually do everything a laptop can do except gaming. But in my opinion you don't have to play everywhere anyway, as long as you don't constantly switch between 2 places of residence and accordingly don't want 2 PCs.
That's true. But for university I just find my laptop much more practical. I also have a tablet, but that can't keep up. Especially when I have to work with Excel or other programs. But basically you are absolutely right.
Definitely a laptop.
Sufficient for my needs and is just a multifunctional thing.
I suspect that the PC is more powerful in and of itself, but for me it is first of all immensely important to be mobile with the device and secondly that I don't have a decent keyboard because I type a lot.
And the laptop keyboards were just consistently more comfortable for me than the PC variant.
Otherwise, I really enjoy watching films, which is much more pleasant with my old laptop, which still has a DVD drive, than on the standard PC.
And for those who are now arriving because of the tablet… I have too and it was one of the biggest wastes of money of my life.
Apart from actually for the university, I can't use the thing, I can't really write on it and I also work because it takes forever to write texts.
Find PCs cooler. Straight up.
More modular, look better. Very probably quieter because of correct cooling (possibly even water cooling + low RPM fan).
It just feels more like a "workstation" - a place where you can just do things.
For on the go I either have my smartphone or an iPad - I don't necessarily need a Lappy - even if I currently use one for my work.
My home office workstation is still my favorite.
It is true that certain uses are better for a laptop. But e.g. The iPad Pro is already very close, is often even better for taking notes with the Pencil and will soon receive all programs that are available on MacOS, since both systems support ARM.
