I need a screen shot program for my laptop. I no longer have my snipping tool program on my laptop (I think I deleted it in the middle of a tantrum). I needed the snipping tool for a long time but suddenly it did not work anymore. Suddenly a black bar appeared on the top right and it did not work anymore. From one day to the other, the snipping tool did not work anymore. Then I switched to Picpick but that does not work anymore.
There's always the request if you want to buy the tool. Does any of you know of a good free tool that can be downloaded and installed from a trusted site? I reinstalled the Picpick and Snipping Tool and uninstalled it again. These two tools are only available for a fee.
Press the "Print" key aka "Print" on the keyboard and then insert and save the created screenshot in a photo editor of your choice.
From Windows 8 you can also use the key combination Windows key + Print, so Windows automatically saves the screenshot in your picture folder.
Greenshot is very good
I use everywhere too. I can only recommend.
Actually you should be able to undo this Snipping Tool - Macke with the help of a system recovery.
If you want to have a full screen, the easiest way is: [Windows key] + [Print]. You will find the screenshot in Explorer under "Pictures" in the folder "Screenshots".
Personally, I still prefer to use Paint ([Print]> Paint> Paste) because you can do some editing there.
I have now resorted to paint the way snipping tool works much faster. I like that more.
Since this snipping tool issue is probably a software bug, a system recovery might have to help.
