Mouse problems?

When I plug in my mouse (with a cable), my laptop mouse doesn't work anymore

and I want to use both mice at the same time. Do you know how to fix it?

Do you mean your touchpad by laptop mouse?

At least the cause can't be Windows itself, because you can connect any number of input devices and control the mouse with all of them at the same time.

With touchpads, there's usually a control software from the manufacturer, which is usually installed on pre-installed laptops. Look at the bottom right of the clock to see if there's a symbol (also look under hidden symbols). If so, double-click and check whether there's an indication here that says "if another control unit is recognized, deactivate the Tocuhpad".

No, I don't see anything, and I've already searched Windows Search, there's no setting that says if another control device is recognized, deactivate the touchpad
