Use memory with different timings?

I recently bought a new notebook. I bought it to work with and to play a few games with it. However, the Ram bar slows down the entire gaming experience. Therefore I have now bought a second Ram bar to run it in a dual channel mode. The mainboard of my notebook supports that too. However, I wanted to ask you about the timing. The clock rates, the voltage and the capacity are the same. However, the CL value is 16 for one ram and 17 for the other. Could it work or are there problems? I would be grateful to you.
