Memory Cache 10 GB?

I have a 16 gigabyte of memory on my Windows 10 laptop. When I look in the Task Manager, however, the use of memory, I see that he consistently has 10 gigabytes in the cache and that no matter what I do. Thus, only 4 gigabytes remain because the system also needs memory. What can I do to get more free memory?

The standby list is not an effectively used RAM. Nevertheless, this can lead to performance problems (especially in games). Especially Windows 10 has such a problem with caching.

Windows regulates caching all by itself. As a user, the problem can only be remedied conditionally. Especially in games that generally struggle with frame drops or stuttering - such as Assassin's Creed Origins - this method is well worth it.

However, the standby list must be cleared before each game start.

You can either run fewer processes, increase the resolution in games, so that the GPU limit is reached rather, or just general CPU-intensive tasks limit (for example, limited to a few cores).
