PC Overheating, what can you do there?

I bought a "gaming" laptop about 1 1/2 years ago, equipped with a GTX 1050 4 gb and an i7700 HQ plus 16gb of RAM. After about half a year, I noticed that the performance (which I first assumed) had diminished as I was struggling with increasing FPS drops in games. An example of GTA 5. I was able to play this game on high settings with a fluid 70 and a minimum of 50 FPS. But after some time, the game started with me in ever shorter time intervals to lay (about 15-25 sec. Long). After the FPS drops, the game continued to run normally in its 60 FPS as if nothing had happened. To see if my graphics card did not get too hot I downloaded HW-Monitor to check the temperature of my components. My GPU was at a high of 90 ° C and my CPU was at a high of 98 ° C. Later, on the advice of a YouTube video, I got a laptop cooler that sucked out the back air at the exit. He has brought me some time but now the FPS drops are only hesitating but kicking. I finally decided to turn the laptop on to see if the fan outputs could be clogged with dust. Unfortunately, the cleaning of the lint brought nothing. I just do not know what to do in order to keep the laptop cool, but I also do not support programs like SpeedFan because they are not compatible with my PC.

A deteriorating cooling is usually associated with pollution. Are you sure you cleaned it up in there?
The Fps burglaries come from the fact that your Cpu automatically downgrades from a certain temperature.
It can either be due to a lack of airflow or poor heat transfer between the IHS of the Cpu and the heat sink due to "broken" thermal grease due to high temperatures.
The solution for the 2nd option would be to replace the paste with a higher quality one, which also comes with high temperatures. Unfortunately, I have no idea if and how to do that with your laptop.

First of all, laptops are not made for the game, at some point you always get overheating problems in demanding games.

But nevertheless there are some steps to try.

Disable / uninstall unwanted background programs
Optimize your operating system for less power
Put your laptop in the table (I call it the mattress principle). Here you are trying to put something under the laptop, which is free from below, z.b. 2 bars left and right. This helps the cooling from below.
Third, you can still expand by getting a cooling plate, which is strapped under the laptop, then the airy distance to the ground and the cooling is optimized (see laptop cooling plates)
Keep driver up to date (especially with graphics drivers, this is important for their performance)
If all this does not help, try lowering the settings

Point 6. The problem with the settings is that it all happens even when I play at lowest settings. But thanks for the tips

Thank you! I'll see what I can do there.

The temps are way too high because it clocks down automatically so that the CPU is not even hotter than it already is, you can tell directly from the performance and you get FPS problems.

So that means you have to make the laptop really clean and in the best case, you should renew the thermal grease and there you should resort to a high-quality such as an ARCTIC MX-4

The whole thing is not so easy if you do it yourself.
