It happened today…
I broke the TFT panel of my 12-year-old Packard-Bell MH36 out of carelessness. No liquid runs out; but the display is ruined.
Of course, I also have a few requirements that the notebook should meet:
15.6 "or better 17.3" display diagonal
Full HD resolution 19201080 or better 19201200
Optical drive (DVD burner or BluRay burner)
Keypad with numeric keypad
2.5 "HDD must be installable / upgradeable / exchangeable
Only fanless design is possible
USB 3.0 and an already built-in SSD with at least 240 GB would also be desirable; or the possibility to install / replace one yourself…
The notebook should not be used for gaming. It should only be powerful enough to play Full HD video.
Operating system does not have to be pre-installed / included.
Fanless design for notebooks? Perhaps one of the tablet alternatives but then they do not have the screen size and no internal optical drive
