I play Minecraft Windows 10 Edition on a good gaming laptop and want to join my friends in a multiplayer world (we all play on good gaming laptops and have Windows 10 Edition). Sometimes it works, but most of the time it just says forever: the world is created and the server is searched.
I have followed a lot of problem-solving aids on the xbox setite, my NAT type is open, that of the friend who hosts it and in the xbox settings that I have a server connection. I can join regular servers like Hive Prima.
In the xbox menu it says that I'm in the world, although I'm only looking for the loading screen with the server.
I would appreciate an answer.
I just don't feel like paying 30 euro again.
Or do I get Java for free if I have the Bedrock?
Clearly there are shaders in the bedrock.
You get the Bedrock for free if you have the Java.
And why again?
Definitely not as nice as in Java.
The Java costs about 30 euro
Yes, RTX is awesome.
Can it be done the other way around?
Yes, but I usually play without shaders anyway.
Not everyone has an RTX graphics card, right?
I'm talking about shaders next to ray tracing.
Furthermore, RTX Minecraft is very limited.
No, around 23 euro.
And no, because the Bedrock Edition is a cheap port from Minecraft Mobile to desktop.
Well, but that's the best (at least in BE) that you can use at the moment. The question wasn't about shaders either, so I didn't mean to say that the FS should use RTX.
And: limited, but looks good.
Not anymore, the campaign ended in 2019.
The shader looks just as good in Java and can even be applied without RTX cards. A great advantage in my opinion.
It's not about the Java Edition.
(at least in the BE)
Exactly, buying the Java Edition is not an option for me.
The problem with Bedrock is simply the poor server implementation. It all depends on your NAT type, location, etc. Exactly the same is the case with your friends.
What can i do there?
My NAT type is open.
The host's NAT type is also open.
There's not much you can do - the implementation is just really bad. You do one thing wrong and the whole system does faxing.
As you know, Java works like this: Connect to the address and you're done.
What could I have done wrong?
