For my 18th birthday I would like to have a PC on which I would like to play Minecraft, but unfortunately I don't know which version is better, since I played the Java Edition for the last time in 2011 and the Bedrock Edition has only been running so far the cell phone, on which everything is difficult to use (my opinion). So feel free to write which version you like better on the computer / laptop, so that I can have a few suggestions and be happy to explain your answer Antwort
So Java Edition is better if you want to play on public servers, but Bedrock Edition is better if you want to play survival in your own worlds or something with friends.
So I have both and that's my opinion.
Is the original, has more functions.
Although the Bedrock version now (I still know the times when it was different) the same blocks (e.g. Redstone) as the Java version, they are implemented differently.
Especially since you can't play with the Bedrock on Java servers (there are exceptions, such as GrieferGames, however, they are often overcrowded with bugs) and there are more blocks in Java that can only be obtained through commands.
In Java, for example, you can play the original version (Minecraft 1.0) and switch between versions.
Oh, it's best to find out about the PC (and hardware) you want, if you haven't already done so. A lot of rubbish is sold.
You can set up a simple server for yourself and your friends very quickly in Bedrock. It's much more complicated in Java. Otherwise Java is better on pretty much every point
