I apologize in advance for my lack of knowledge on this subject or if I say something stupid or something.
With the task manager I noticed that my laptop is extremely jerky when playing Battlefield 5 or GTA V (40-50 fps) and only partially uses the integrated GPU (AMD Radeon (TM) vega 8 Graphics) and not the dedicated NVIDIA graphics card (NVIDA Geforce GTX 1660). Since the performance with the AMD card is rather poor, I wanted to deactivate it accordingly via the device manager, with the hope that my laptop would then use the Nvidia graphics card, the result was that it still did not use the Nvidia graphics card in the end. I've been looking for a solution for hours but still haven't found anything.
I would be very grateful for any help.
My CPU: AMD Ryzen 5 3550H with radeon Vega Mobile Gfx
Is your graphics card recognized in the device manager? Geforce experience and the latest driver installed?
You can set in the BIOS which graphics card the NB should use.
Open Nvidia system controls and set the graphics card as primary. Should work.
My graphics card is recognized in the device manager, yes, it is activated there.
The latest drivers are also installed.
I already checked the BIOS of my HP laptop, but there was no function to change the GPU.
With the nvidia system controls, I have also set the graphics card as primary, but when playing the task manager it still shows that the amd card is 90-100% and the Nvidia card is at most 3%
