I'm looking for a gaming notebook / laptop. I would like to use it among other things for the school (research, make presentations…) and now and then. Netflix / watching movies on it. The most important thing for me, however, is that he is good at playing. On the old laptop (already a few years old) I could play the games, but clearly not smooth.
The laptop should have games such as PlanetCoaster, Sims4 or Hello Neighbor can play quite fluently, because I'm tired of having to wait in part for up to 5 seconds until the computer reacts (with jerks). Unfortunately, I do not know how good he has to be especially for the games (hard drive, processor…). Unfortunately, I have no idea… 😅 Do I actually need a gaming notebook, or does it a "everyday" notebook too (are often not as expensive as gaming notebooks…).
It is also important to me that the laptop / notebook has a DVD drive if possible, since I own all the games as DVDs (external LW are not that practical…).
The laptop / notebook should also be up to approx. 700 euro cost.
If you could tell me what to look for in the notebook / laptop or what is especially needed for the games so that I can play on it in a few years, that would be great. Even better would be a "recommendation".
The best solution is a home PC and a laptop for school / on the move.
Hello Neighbor is by far the most demanding game in your selection, the others also run on any office device.
In addition, a gaming notebook is often large, heavy, has minimal battery life, is not upgradeable, noisy, and quickly dies of congestion.
Does it necessarily have to be a notebook or would that be at home anyway?
I would (almost) only use it at home, but a computer is not for me because I have no room for it…

Can you also guess at guessing to pay slow gtx 1060 8gb ram i5 processor 8 series everything should work fine in full hd with high settings and 30-60 fps
It may be a bit over budget, but maybe it will work… 😅 The only thing that would be missing (like the other laptop) would be a DVD drive. I know there are not many laptops / notebooks with it, but otherwise I can't play many of my games… (except for an external drive)
I know expensive unfortunately, are good gaming laptops Generally mega expensive one under 1000 is usually nothing to gamble
Because of the dvd drive ganet have now looked after whether the laptop has it but there are mitlerweile good external dvd drives or bluray as far as I know s.pc and laptop can connect and so expensive are the net

or, better but you need an external usb dvd drive:
But is not there a DVD drive with the Lenovo laptop? There's no, but you can recognize one thing…
Seems to be sorted wrong. I assume that there's also one.

Otherwise newer models of the Lenovo Legion Y-series
Many thanks for your response! The Acer computer is unfortunately too expensive…
Otherwise newer models of the Lenovo Legion Y-series
They have a GTX + new HQ / H i5 / i7 around the 700, the SSD managed in my case almost 4GB / s (write speed was only around the few hundred Mb / s, but well)
