I want to get a new laptop in the near future. At school we have
recently this laptop. The price is very low if the touchscreen is included. Now I ask myself why it is so cheap? Can you help me with that? I would use the laptop for a few games such as League of Legends, Fortnite and Cod. I absolutely don't need the highest graphics.
The catch is no FullHD resolution, small display, Intel's Celeron (quite lame), little RAM and no Ssd but only an emmC memory with a low capacity.
That's the way it is. But above all Chromebook!
Well the catch is that the laptop hardware is technically quite weak
What is an emmC? FullHD isn't that bad, is it? And what is the Intel Cekeron? Is that the processor? Does that mean the games don't run smoothly?
That means? 😅
It's small, has large display bezels, little RAM and Celeron CPUs are inefficient. I doubt games like COD would work 😅
That it is small and has a large display edge is not a problem, but what about the Celeron? Does that mean the games I mentioned above won't run smoothly on low graphics?
What's so bad about the Chromebook?
1. Emmc is basically the little brother of an SSD. Slower, lower capacity (32,64,128GB typically) and mostly non-replaceable.
2. Does the notebook not even have FullHD but only Wxga (between 720p and 1080p)
3. The Celeron is an Intel processor still below an i3, in other words quite slow (therefore not a FullHD). 4. Most games won't run anyway due to the weak integrated GPU (forget Fortnite or Cod). Windows isn't even installed on it.
My advice: For the price you get much better hardware if you can do without the touch.
What would you recommend around 500-609 euro? I can do without touch, but I wouldn't say no to it.
This is a ChromeBook, so ChromeOS is running and all the games won't be that easy, if at all, to install. And, as others have already written, they won't run on the hardware.
Oh, could you recommend a better one for the price? Touch is not essential.
With the thing you can only get Minecraft, hands off such overpriced nonsense
Oh shame. What would you recommend for the price? Touch is not important.
So I can hardly give a direct recommendation. You won't be able to play graphics-heavy games with notebooks in this price range.
The touchscreen costs around 200 euro more from most manufacturers.
However, you should generally pay attention to the following built-in hardware at this price:
Processor: at least one Intel i5 or Amd Ryzen 5
Ram: at least 8GB
Hard disk: Ssd with at least 256GB
Maybe you are waiting for Black Friday in November, there you could get some bargains.
But I will wish my family to have the laptop.
Since laptops can hardly ever do anything in the price range anyway, I would go to offers
I found this spontaneously

You can also get Fortnite with low settings
Thank you!
So giving the ultimate recommendation here is difficult. How many inches? Every notebook has minor quirks (processing, loud fan, etc.).
So for me, performance, not too loud (for gaming) and a reasonably good display are important. The edges of the screen can be very thick and the size of the laptop is not important. (can also be a small one)

Something like that okay? This notebook has a Ryzen CPU with a significantly stronger iGpu than Intel's. Disadvantage of the laptop: apparently the speakers are not too loud.
You can orientate yourself on this first.
