Is the laptop sufficient for office and drawing?

I bought a laptop for 200 euro on Cyber Monday. I do not expect much, because I use it for school purposes (Word etc. And also VectorWorks)

the following components are installed:

AMD A4 - 9125

AMD Radeon 3 graphics (storage capacity?)

4GB RAM

256gb ssd

Clear 200 euro are nothing when it comes to PC and just about laptop.

I have 100% CPU and RAM usage.

The consideration is: 8GB Ram as the laptop quickly starts to get lame

or is the processor too weak, so the ram would not change anything

I have not drawn yet, I will still test. The whole thing just went through my head

Thanks for your help

Luis

Ps: HP 17-ca0215ng (17.3 inch / HD +) notebook (AMD A4-9125, 4GB RAM, 256GB SSD, AMD Radeon R3, without OS) black https://www.amazon.de/...07TRFHMCC/

Even a "base computer should Office and Paint kann.Du you have of course not bought a rocket and have to live with something" lame ".

Sure, more ram brings more… But even with doubling, there will be no turbo, dind the built components just too weak.

br

If it goes, give it back.

You have bought a SingleCore processor. Since you can tinker with as much RAM as you want, nothing happens.

That's just really lame.

Should have spent 50 euro more.

For 300 euro this:

Very fast and good

Or that for 250 euro considerably faster than your 200 euro Book.

Hi, the A4 9125 is supposed to be a dual core, why should the 4417 U be faster?

br

The A4 is theoretically a dual core.

It has a module with 2 cores (which corresponds to a 1 core with 2 threads, as the cores have to share the resources).

The Pentium Gold 4417u is equivalent to an Intel Core i3.

The 4417u has 2 cores with 4 threads.

Please look at this page, please scroll down, there you can see the comparison very well, the 4417u has about 70% more power.

br

A Ryzen 3200u (the notebook for 300 euro) has about 150% more power than an A4-9125.

Well, on the side the A4 is titled as dual core with 2 threads. The Pentium has just 4 threads

br

O.k, again.

Yes, it is sold as a DualCore, but technically it is a single core with 2 threads… Plus a very poor performance.

Yes, the Pentium Gold has 2 cores with 4 threads and despite lower number of cycles more SingleCore performance than the A4.

Even AMD has admitted that the application as a multi-core (FX models based on the same principle (modular design)) was a "mistake" and even paid occasional compensation.

For the future:

Avoid the following CPUs…

INTEL Atom, Celeron, Pentium, Pentium Silver.

AMD has everything to do with Sufix A, C or E.

You can take:

INTEL Pentium Gold, i3, i5, i7, i9.

AMD only the RYZEN series.

br

You've already noticed how bad the A4-9125 is, because you will not help the RAM synonymous.

Ro

Ok, thanks, I'll think again and maybe take the Ryzen 3 laptop instead.

br

Yes, consider this, is a huge difference
