I want to convert my old laptop into a desktop PC. Are there such connections?
Only if you have USB 3 ports, with USB 2 and below, that won't work…
The laptop is 11 years old. Has only USB 2.0
Then that's not possible…
You need a USB to HDMI converter for image transmission… The adapter cables are only suitable for data transmission, you can't connect the monitor with them.
What about the display cable connection?
What are you doing so specifically? What a device and what is going on around it. Because of the age it's more like a retro box ^^
Of course you can take that, but the question (from you) was another…
https://www.ebay.de/...=138407815 what about them?
Convert the laptop to a desktop PC and spice things up. It used to cost a lot.
The cable is a fake…
Buy it quietly, it won't work…
You can then send it back to Shenzen at your own expense…
Is everything there…
And now it's worth nothing… That's the way it is…
It doesn't just work that way. The CPU / GPU are almost always soldered. The mainboard is attached to the case. And it's just not easy to make a separate monitor out of the display. Components that can be used one by one are HDD / SDD, Ram (if you have a suitable board) and possibly the WLAN module. Then the fun stops.
Even an 11 year old PC would now have 0 value ^^
