Is my laptop freezed?

I just wanted to restart my laptop and now I'm new start screen stuck.

That's been there for an hour…

Does anyone know how to get out of this?

Are the points still turning? Maybe an update is currently running.

Otherwise, press the power button for more than 5 seconds, then it should go out, then turn on again.

And what should that bring? The laptop will then switch to battery power and continue running.
