Mine on my laptop (windows 10 the latching function is activated and I can't do anything with the mouse. How can I deactivate it

I don't know if it is, but I had that too and it never went away because there was a defect in the monitor. Do you have a crack in your screen?

No no crack. But on my TouchPad a white lamp lights up where a monitor is on it and a line through it
